Kevin Schmidt is a licensed US Coast Guard OUPV captain. He has spent every summer of his life fishing and spending time on the back bays and coastal waters of LBI. Learning from his grandfather, he recalls memories from as far back as he can remember of crabbing, fishing, and exploring. His first boat was 8ft with a 2hp Yamaha. He began a minnow business at age 12, selling to the local bait shops, and bartering quarts of minnows for quarts of grass shrimp with local fisherman. Captain Kevin looks forward to sharing his passion of fishing with you.
